- Senior PwC Partner to Join as Chairman -
March 2014 - Arrowcroft director Daniel Carter and finance director Alan Jones have successfully led the MBO of the real estate company Arrowcroft Group’s development, finance and asset management team, to form Vixcroft.
Albert Dock owner Arrowcroft Group has recently undergone a restructuring following the death of its founder Leonard Eppel in the autumn of 2012.
The buyout sees experienced real estate regeneration specialist Daniel Carter take on the role of chief executive, Alan Jones will continue as finance director. The management team will be further strengthened by the appointment of Ian Coleman, a former senior partner and global leader of PwC’s valuation and strategy practice, as chairman. Ian brings considerable knowledge of financial restructuring to the team. Ian’s key role will be to oversee Vixcroft’s corporate development and to be involved in property deals with complex capital structures and demanding modelling or valuation issues.
Commenting on the MBO Daniel Carter said: “This is an exciting opportunity for us. The team at Vixcroft has years of experience and a hugely successful track record as investors, asset managers and developers in all real estate classes, particularly in town centre regeneration projects.”
Commenting on Ian’s appointment, Daniel Carter added:. “We are delighted to have Ian on board and his experience will be invaluable to complex real estate deals.”
Along with the new Board, Vixcroft has appointed a senior leadership team to support the growth of the firm.
“The appointment of senior staff to lead from within the business gives us the foundations we need to grow and expand. We have a hugely talented, charismatic and bight senior team who are central to the growth of Vixcroft.” Added Daniel Carter.
