Vixcroft Appoints John Bywater as Non Executive Director
August 2014 - Vixcroft the town centre real estate regeneration specialist, has appointed former Hammerson MD John Bywater as a non executive director.
John brings with him years of experience in the real estate sector, with a career spanning the Leeds Corporation and the brewer Joshua Tetley, followed by the Burton Group, (now Arcadia), and the developer, Burton Property Trust, of which he was Managing Director. John then joined Donaldsons before moving to Hammerson (UK) Properties, where he was responsible for a portfolio around £3bn in value and developing award winning shopping centres as West Quay, Southampton, The Oracle ,Reading and The Bull Ring, Birmingham.
Commenting on John’s appointment Vixcroft chief executive, Daniel Carter said: “John has wide ranging experience in the property sector and he will help Vixcroft develop into a leading regeneration investment , development and asset management company.”
John continues to be actively involved in the real estate sector and is on a number of boards including Caddick Developments Ltd, Workspace plc, Low Carbon Workplace Fund, Canal and River Trust, Realis Estates and Opera North.
