October 2016 - Daniel Carter, chief executive of Vixcroft Ltd has been installed as senior warden of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Surveyors at the Election Court on 24 October 2016 at Goldsmiths Hall in the City of London.
Daniel was elected a Liveryman in 1995. He was elected as a professional associate of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1984 and a Fellow in 1995.
The role of senior warden is to support the Master, William Hill, during their year in office and to deputise for the Master, if required, at meetings and ceremonial functions.
Commenting on his appointment Daniel Carter said: “It is a tremendous honour to be part of a Livery Company with ancient traditions, charitable activities and also a busy contemporary role. It is a particular honour to work alongside William Hill as Master, who is the son of a former Master, Sir Brian Hill, then chairman of Higgs & Hill, and Tony Joyce as Junior Warden. William’s installation as Master, following his illustrious father, represents the growing maturity of the Company”.
